What are the common fireworks regulations and permits in the United States? I know the rules vary widely from state to state, and even cities/towns to cities/towns. However, I would like to know the commonly used permits. I understand the federal government does not regulate fireworks directly, however, it must have some rules and regulations related to the production, transportation, and distribution of fireworks. What are some of the common state laws and local laws regarding use of sell and use of fireworks?
