In Ashtabula County, Ohio, getting a building permit has now become a little more easy. When you apply for a building permit, you also need to include copies of any zoning and health department permits that apply to your project. This helps the Building Department to make sure that all rules are followed before giving the green light. Before this change, enforcing zoning and health regulations was a little bit tricky.
