Jacksonville has launched "JAXEPICS," a user-friendly web system that aims to speed up the permit acquisition process for businesses and residents. If you have tried getting permits and were tired of delays, JAXEPICS will now simplify and expedite the application process.

This innovative system will tell you want documents you require and will stop you from submitting your application until all required documents are submitted. The goal is to minimize resubmissions and keep the wait time under 20 days. Businesses can also easily track their application statuses.

It's good to see more cities and states moving to better permitting systems, especially ones that make it easier for everyone to get the permits they need. The only issues with these new systems, is I can see a lot of the elderly having issues getting going. Like finding the site or how to do it.

But, we're advancing to a future where everything will be fast, seamless, and at your fingertips instead of having to wait days, weeks or months for your permits.
