I have been out of government inspections for a few years. I’m still very active but looking to see what issues everyone is having before I look into going back into inspections full time.

Hello, it's good to have you with us. Goodness knows us developers and builders can use all the help we can get when it comes to getting our permits approved. The main issue that I've run into is time. Despite the pandemic ending, it's still taking ages to get my buildings inspected.

Ga law requires an inspection within 48 hours or you can use any approved inspector. You also have the ability to use an engineer in lieu of city/county inspectors.

Can you ask in advance if, realistically, a municipal inspector will be available in the 48 hour window so you can obtain your own quicker if need be? Are they nice down in Georgia, that way?
