Welcome Lucine! Great to have someone from LADBS here. Sounds like you're currently working for LADBS and also moonlighting for a consulting company (Express Permits)? I'd be curious what that's like. Is your government work completely separate from your private sector work such that you don't encounter any conflicts of interest juggling the two?

By the way, we have an Office Profile page for LADBS at this link. I'll admit that LADBS has been used as sort of a punching bag on this forum. Most of the negative sentiment comes from harsh customer reviews, namely those appearing on Yelp. There was also a whistleblower/corruption case that I discussed in this post.
