In Florida, there are new plans to make more wetland mitigation banks. Right now, the state has 131 wetlands mitigation banks, and they want to add mitigation banks in 30 more places. If you're a developer, you can balance out the effects of your projects on wetlands by buying and taking care of areas near wetlands that do the same ecological job. The state is changing its laws and wants to keep Florida's ecosystems safe despite letting development projects happen. It's really important to keep up with the latest info about mitigation credits and the rules for developing wetlands.

I think this is a really smart move to help protect and even restore some of the wetlands in Florida. Anyone starting a business should consider supporting this, especially if you take up any new land for your property. Wish more locations would follow this. For example, if you cut down trees to set up a business, maybe planting trees to make up for the ones taken down would be nice. I could see this driving more initiatives like this.
