I found an interesting question on Reddit that I thought would be nice to share in this community for our members to provide input. A real estate investor asked users on the r/realestateinvesting subreddit about common permitting issues they are facing with their projects. He wanted to know how architects and contractors have managed to handle these issues.

Here are some key insights from the discussion on Reddit:
  • According to some Reddit users, frequent changes in planning personnel can cause delays and inconsistencies. Therefore, you will have know keep in touch with planning department to know when the personnel is changes.
  • Reddit users also say that different departments often have conflicting requirements, which makes service seekers to make several revisions. You will have to do thorough planning and keep records of all communications and approvals.
