A lot of people have been let completely frustrated with the service of Baton Rouge Permits & Inspections Division especially from how their workers treat people. They are so rude like they are the one's feeding you. They have a serious bad attitude and hardly answer calls. When they manage to answer their call, they have the bad habit of transferring you to another person without notice or even telling the next staff the reason why they transferred you.

They are a complete disagree !!

Agreed, reviews are almost uniformly negative for this one. The permitting staff appear to be unresponsive at best and rude, incapable, and unprofessional at worst. There are multiple accounts of applicants experiencing long waits with little or no communication despite persistently trying to reach out. One person recounted how she scheduled an inspection and had to wait around all day before finally calling the department and learning that the inspector wouldn't be able to make it. She was understandably very frustrated by the lack of communication. There a several other accounts that are similarly exasperated by the poor this department's poor customer service.
