If you rely on burn permits in Alabama, it's vital to stay informed about the latest developments. The Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC) has taken the precautionary step of suspending the issuance of burn permits due to the heightened risk of wildfires. This decision aligns with the official Fire Danger Level being classified as "Very High."

It's essential to be aware that conducting burns in fields, grasslands, or woodlands without a permit could result in prosecution for a Class B misdemeanor. The current dry weather conditions and the absence of expected rainfall have prompted this preventive action. To ensure the safety of all, it is advisable to abstain from any outdoor burning activities until further notice.

I have never been a fan of burning the fields, grasslands, or woodlands for any reason whatsoever. If you have seen how devastating wildfires can be especially when it comes to destroying everything in its path and possibly killing all the wildlife living in those places, you're going to think about about burning a small space in a field. I'm all in support for this precautionary measures by The Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC). This is going to save both animal lives and their nature too.
