Hello, I’m from the PNW and am excited to join this community to discuss permitting! I primarily work on obtaining permits for commercial and residential development in Idaho. My work also includes performing wetland delineations and designing storm water and drainage systems to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.

Welcome RavenGirl, so happy to have you aboard! As you know, aquatic resource regulations/permitting is my bread and butter. I look forward to chatting with you about any interesting PNW wetland delineation/permitting situations you're running into.

On a related note, hope you'll keep us posted on what your local Corps office ultimately says about the jurisdictional status of those wetlands you asked about on Reddit. I'm pretty sure three parameters should rule the day and the technical standard is just for problematic situations...would be interesting to hear if your Corps office says otherwise.

Thank you! I believe you are correct, but we will see! We run into a lot of problematic situations - being in an area heavily influenced by agriculture and grazing practices, so the information will be valuable regardless. I will definitely keep you in the loop! I'm glad to have found a resource who enjoys discussing the regulatory side of aquatic resources!
