    Pharmacy Permits

Does anyone know if the permitting process to open a pharmacy in Arizona is complicated? I know the feds would be involved somehow, but I don't know how much they bog down the process.

Arizona's Permits in Process interactive map

It would behoove us all to remember something: When a federal agency doesn't want to deal with a problem, they will re-word it to make it appear outside of their scope of expertise. Passing the buck to.........whoever.

    New Code Cycle

I would expect the loudest rumblings will come from those who see the tightened ventilation stands as being unnecessary. That's my prediction, at least, because the other changes don't seem that bad.

    Mold remediation permit?

Some cities require that you place the wood or other material that the black mold touched, into plastic of a specific thickness. But when you get to the landfill, they don't care. It's an imperfect science.

    Permits and HOA's

Does an HOA have the legal authority to override the permitting department in regards to how something gets built when the HOA approves of the idea? I hear so many horror stories of how an HOA overextends their reach.

    porch/deck and railings

So 30" is the standard height? The fact that they specify that amount while saying it doesn't really matter is indicative of that. Just seems like unnecessary verbiage.

Take pictures. Document the growth. Consult your local GIS website for ownership, express your concerns to them, show the photos and take care of the problem quickly.

What to Watch Out for When Hiring a Permit Expediter

It also helps when the city that the construction is in, is small. Just walk up to the counter and drop his or her name, and they'll know them or not. Some things are easier in a small town.

    Express Permits

From an email I recently received: ......... County Development Services recently created a new septic permit option meant to streamline the permit process and reduce processing times. The new Express Permit option for the Environmental Unit is for Tank Only Repair (Septic). The attachment...

Filmmakers claim park permitting system is unconstitutional

I read the article, and I don't think this is necessary. I always thought that park services doing this was meant to curtail traffic in National Parks, and not to curtail peoples' freedom of speech. I don't think those guys have much of a case.

    What Is Wrong With OSHA?

What I mean is, why do Republicans want it disbanded? Because of financial waste? I always saw the work they do as being beneficial to workers and to keep everyone safe. Am I missing something, here?

Proposal for Monarch Butterfly to be Classified as Threatened

It's the little things like this that, when looked at collectively, make people see the importance of every animal, plant and insect. Together, they help make the ecosystem what it is and everything should be allowed to grow and thrive.

    Trump On Real Estate?

I haven't heard a peep either. He's going after government waste, so I'm sure the FHFA might come up on the chopping block sooner or later.

    Documentation for Sunroom Project

Yeah, typically, when you apply for a building permit, safety and legal concerns are more important than the actual putting-together of a structure. That's been my experience, at least.

    Permit for temporary amusement ride

That last part makes a lot of sense. The burden of proof on anything concerning an amusement park ride should be on the owner of said ride, not the renter.

Getting a permit for recreational target shooting

That would be your best bet. Get it straight from the horse's mouth. Out west, there are so many empty spaces in the boonies; you make sure you can't see a house or business, and you're all set. Fire Away!

    The Business of Politics

I couldn't find any specifics online, so I'm asking here. When people post signs on street corners, business lawns and personal lawns, do they need a permit to do so? I know that billboards require permits, but what about all the signs that make everything look ugly that advertise political...

How do businesses get permits to install utility infrastructure?

Remember that tunnel that Elon Musk wanted to build between California and Las Vegas? I wonder if that's possible with people instead of cars. If it is, the question would then be whether you need a permit to dig and build that kind of system under undeveloped land. Like a desert.
