Does anyone know if the permitting process to open a pharmacy in Arizona is complicated? I know the feds would be involved somehow, but I don't know how much they bog down the process.

It would behoove us all to remember something: When a federal agency doesn't want to deal with a problem, they will re-word it to make it appear outside of their scope of expertise. Passing the buck to.........whoever.

I would expect the loudest rumblings will come from those who see the tightened ventilation stands as being unnecessary. That's my prediction, at least, because the other changes don't seem that bad.

Some cities require that you place the wood or other material that the black mold touched, into plastic of a specific thickness. But when you get to the landfill, they don't care. It's an imperfect science.

Does an HOA have the legal authority to override the permitting department in regards to how something gets built when the HOA approves of the idea? I hear so many horror stories of how an HOA overextends their reach.

So 30" is the standard height? The fact that they specify that amount while saying it doesn't really matter is indicative of that. Just seems like unnecessary verbiage.

Take pictures. Document the growth. Consult your local GIS website for ownership, express your concerns to them, show the photos and take care of the problem quickly.

It also helps when the city that the construction is in, is small. Just walk up to the counter and drop his or her name, and they'll know them or not. Some things are easier in a small town.

I read the article, and I don't think this is necessary. I always thought that park services doing this was meant to curtail traffic in National Parks, and not to curtail peoples' freedom of speech. I don't think those guys have much of a case.

What I mean is, why do Republicans want it disbanded? Because of financial waste? I always saw the work they do as being beneficial to workers and to keep everyone safe. Am I missing something, here?

It's the little things like this that, when looked at collectively, make people see the importance of every animal, plant and insect. Together, they help make the ecosystem what it is and everything should be allowed to grow and thrive.

Yeah, typically, when you apply for a building permit, safety and legal concerns are more important than the actual putting-together of a structure. That's been my experience, at least.
